This trekking route is renowned for 108 fresh water lakes in the Himalayas and popular destination for romantic, sentimental, emotional and religious travellers. Gosainkunda Trek takes you to the holiest Lake for the Hindu people i.e. Gosainkunda Lake and the place we go throughout the Gosainkunda Trek is extremely beautiful too. Gosainkunda Lake is considered is very holy because of its attachment with Lord Shiva, the highest in Hindu religion hierarchy and thousands of local and Indian along with many tourist of other nation of Hindu belief visit this place to pay their homage. On the other hand non Hindu tourist visit Gosainkunda area in equal number because of its excitingly beautiful landscape and Lakes.
Gosainkunda Trek will take you to the maximum height of 4,610m. The trek start from Kathmandu and end at Dhunche.The high Gosainkunda pass, through the rugged trail with unbelievable views of Himalchuli (7893m) Manaslu (8156mm) and Ganesh Himal (7406m). On a clear day the place offers us the fantastic scenery of the Annapurna Range rising in the north behind the valley of Langtang Lirung. We’ll cross few huts in the high settlement of Laurebina and cross a small ridge, from where we have first glimpse of the Holy Lakes of Gosainkunda. Gosainkunda region has about a dozen frozen lakes among which the main three giants are Saraswatikunda, Bhairabkunda, and Gosainkunda.
Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu. Welcome and receive from airport and transfer to hotel. Introductory program and briefing about the trip.
Day 02: City tour in Kathmandu. Full day city tour includes the visits to many historical and architectural monuments of ancient Kathmandu valley such as Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swoyambhunath Stupa (Monkey temple), Patan Durbar Square, Kathmandu Durbar Square etc.
Day 03 : Trek starts with a drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubensi (2130m) by private Land cruiser
Day 04 : Syabrubensi to Lama Hotel(2380 m.)
Walk downwards for about 2 hrs. through forest and ascend for about 1hr. to reach Bombu Village (1850 m.) Gradually ascend through Bombu Jungle and reach Rimche to stay.
Day 05 : Lama Hotel to Langtang (3500 m.)
Trek forward through Rhododendron and Pine forest for about 3 hrs. and reach Ghoda Tabela then walk for another two hours and reach Langtang ( biggest village of the area ) inhabited by Buddhist Tamangs and Tibetans.
Day 06 : Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa (3700 m.)
Trek for 3 hrs. through the trail and reache Kyanjing Gompa where you can see local cheese factory and beautiful mountains from Yala peak, excursion spot.
Day 07 : Rest day at Kyanjin Gompa and excursion in and around.
This is a day to rest and explore the area. You can visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces and tumbling glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyangjin Ri (4350m.), directly behind the village, for a breathtaking panorama of the Langtang peaks
Day 08 : Kyanjing Gompa to Rimche or Lama Hotel
Trek back by the same route
Day 09 : From Rimche to Thulo Syabru (Village)(2260m).
The route climbs steeply through the forest, crossing the river, climbing to Syabru Village.
Day 10 : From Thulo Syabru to Lauribinayak (3920m).
Passing Schools and gompas the trail climb up the steephill and to Dursagang (2660m). The trail further proceeds through the forest of hemlock and oak to the top of ridge at Foprang Danda (3190). Climbing and passing the government agriculture office you will reach to Sing Gompa which is the main attraction of Chandan Bari. From Sing Gompa the trail climbs gradually up to Chalang pati (3650m). From Chalang pati, you views of Langtang Lirung, the Mountains edging Tibet and the majestic forest full of rhododendron and pine. The trail ascends to Laurebina Yak.
Day 11 : From Lauribinayak to Gosainkunda (4460m).
The route ascends up to a small temple with a statue of Sakyamuni and further climbing you can see good views of Saraswati kunda. After trekking some while you have excellent views of Bhairav Kunda and climbing gently you will reach to Gosaikund.
Day 12 : From Gosainkunda to Sing gumpa (3400m).
Day 13 : Sing Gumpa to Dhunche (2135m).
Day 14 : Dhunche to Kathmandu by Bus
• Airport Pick up and drop
• Kathmandu city tour as per the itinerary by private car/van
• All entry fees to monumental zones in Kathmandu city tour

• Trekkers’ Information Management System (TIMS) registration fee
• Land transportation from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi and from Melamchi to Kathmandu by private Land cruiser.
