We follow a rugged trail with dramatic views; to the west Himal chuli (7893m) Manaslu (8156mm) and Ganesh Himal (7406m). On a clear day, even the Annapurna range can be seen rising up behind and to the north across the valley is Langtang Lirung. We pass a few huts in the high picture of Laurebina, cross a small ridge and have our first views of the holy lakes. There are about a dozen lakes in the Gosainkunda Basin, the main three being Saraswatikunda, Bhairabkunda, and Gosainkunda. According to legend, Shiva created Gosainkunda when he pierced a glacier with his trident to obtain water to quench his thirst after having swallowed a poison that threatened to destroy the world.

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu. Welcome and receive from airport and transfer to hotel. Introductory program and briefing about the trip.
Day 02: City tour in Kathmandu. Full day city tour includes the visits to many historical and architectural monuments of ancient Kathmandu valley such as Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swoyambhunath Stupa (Monkey temple), Patan Durbar Square, Kathmandu Durbar Square etc.
Day 03 : Trek starts with a drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubensi (2130m) by private Land cruiser
Day 04 : Syabrubensi to Rimche or Lama hotel(2380 m.)
Walk downwards for about 2 hrs. through forest and ascend for about 1hr. to reach Bombu Village (1850 m.) Gradually ascend through Bombu Jungle and reach Rimche to stay.
Day 05 : Rimche to Langtang (3500 m.)
Trek forward through Rhododendron and Pine forest for about 3 hrs. and reach Ghoda Tabela then walk for another two hours and reach Langtang ( biggest village of the area ) inhabited by Buddhist Tamangs and Tibetans.
Day 06 : Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa (3700 m.)
Trek for 3 hrs. through the trail and reache Kyanjing Gompa where you can see local cheese factory and beautiful mountains from Yala peak, excursion spot.
Day 07 : Rest day at Kyanjin Gompa and excursion in and around.
This is a day to rest and explore the area. You can visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces and tumbling glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyangjin Ri (4350m.), directly behind the village, for a breathtaking panorama of the Langtang peaks
Day 08 : Kyanjing Gompa to Rimche or Lama Hotel
Trek back by the same route
Day 09 : From Rimche to Thulo Syabru (Village)(2260m).
The route climbs steeply through the forest, crossing the river, climbing to Syabru Village.
Day 10 : From Thulo Syabru to Lauribinayak (3920m).
Passing Schools and gompas the trail climb up the steephill and to Dursagang (2660m). The trail further proceeds through the forest of hemlock and oak to the top of ridge at Foprang Danda (3190). Climbing and passing the government agriculture office you will reach to Sing Gompa which is the main attraction of Chandan Bari. From Sing Gompa the trail climbs gradually up to Chalang pati (3650m). From Chalang pati, you views of Langtang Lirung, the Mountains edging Tibet and the majestic forest full of rhododendron and pine. The trail ascends to Laurebina Yak.
Day 11 : From Lauribinayak to Gosainkunda (4460m).
The route ascends up to a small temple with a statue of Sakyamuni and further climbing you can see good views of Saraswati kunda. After trekking some while you have excellent views of Bhairav Kunda and climbing gently you will reach to Gosaikund.
Day 12 : From Gosainkunda to Ghopte(3440m).
The trail leads to the northern side of Gosaikunda Lake, crosses a moraine, passing three more small lakes; you will reach Laurebina La (4610m). The trail descends to a National Park Post at Bhera Goth (4240m) and to Phedi (3740m). From Phedi the route drops and climbs through scrub bamboo to Dupichaur (3630m) and descends finally to Ghopte.
Day 13 : From Ghopte to Melamchi Gaun (2135m).
The trail continues up ravines and across the boulders of old moraines below the wreckage of a plane that crashed in 1992, then make a final ascent to Tharepati on the ridge at 3490m from where we can see Helambu region. We will reach Tharepati at noon. From Tharepati about 3 hours steeply down through the oaks and rhododendron forests. When we cross a stream on a suspension bridge down, the trail makes a short final climb to reach the prosperous Sherpa village of Malamchigaun at 2530m. We will reach here early and rest of the time we can just stroll around the village. Melamchi gaun is very nice village. It has glossy gompa with a line of prayer flags at the front and brightly painted walls and statues.
Day 14 : Melamchi Gaun to Tarkegyang (2550m)
After breakfast trek to Tarkeghyang and it takes about five hours. The early part of the trek descends until you cross the stream named as Melamchi khola then you trek gently up to Tarkeghyang passing through Sherpa settlements. Tarkeghyang is a beautiful Sherpa village with one of the oldest and biggest monasteries in Helembu region. Tarkeghyang, also known as Helambu is named after the Helmu caste which is belongs to Sherpa ethnic group. The Sherpa people living here originally belong to Helmu caste.. Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 15 : Trek from Tarkeghyang to Shermathang (2621m.)
It takes about five hours. This day the trail is quite easier through flat land with beautiful forests on the way. You trek on crossing some small streams on the way. There is situated a beautiful village on the half way to Shermathang. Shermathang is another pretty Sherpa village where you can visit many ancient monasteries. There you can see Jugal Himal range at the north face of Shermathang village. Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 16 : From Sermathang to Melamchi Pul (Dharkhola) 828m
After breakfast trek to Melamchi Pul Bazaar and it takes approximately five hours. The trail gradually descends all the way to Melamchi Pul Bazaar through meadows and cultivated fields. On the way, you come across several old villages with their own particular tradition. Walking this day is quite pleasant with mountain views and interaction with local. Stay overnight at lodge
Day 17 : From Melamchi Pul to Kathmandu by private land cruiser
Drive from Melamchi Pul Bazaar to Kathmandu it takes about five hours. You travel through gravel and bumpy path up to Zero Kilo and then you follow the pitched road up to Kathmandu.
Day 18 : As per the flight schedule, transfer to airport for final departure with beautiful memories.
