Mohare Danda Trekking route is recently opened with the local community initiative in the Annapurna Himalayas Region. This wonderful location may one day outshine Pun Hill in terms of vistas, and because they offer ridge-top accommodation sorely lacking elsewhere. Khopra Danda (3650 m) is the highest and closest vantage point to the massive Annapurna South, and the well-furnished inn at Mohare Danda (3300m) has jaw-dropping views with a panorama that extends from Gurja Himal right up to Himalchuli and looks down on Pokhara Valley including beautiful Fhewa Lake.

It’s a panoramic thrill flying into Kathmandu on a clear day. The views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic, beginning a whole chain of memorable experiences that stay with you for a long, long time. And as your plane hits the tarmac, our waiting support team will meet and greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Welcome drinks will be served.

After early morning breakfast, we’ll depart from Kathmandu and head towards Pokhara(200km), around 7:00 AM in the morning, approximately 7hrs away by tourist bus. We’ll have our lunch on the way to Pokhara(822m). You’ll arrive at Pokhara at approximately 2:00 o’clock. Pokhara lakeside sits, at the “front row center” of one of the most beautiful Himalayan panoramas in the world. The Annapurna and famous “Fishtail” mountain peak of Machapuchhare tower over the tropical setting of Pokhara and the time you spend there will be the scenic highlight of your trip. You’re free in Pokhara Valley also called the “Magic Land” or Dreamland” of Nepal, to explore the various interesting place of your own like boating in Fewa lake while looking at the Annapurna Range of the Himalayas. In the evening you will prepare yourself for your trek to Mohare Danda.

Today is the starting day of our Trek. After Breakfast, we’ll drive towards Galeshwar(1170m) which will take about 3 hours. We’ll drive through Kushma village. Kushma(1294m)has a newly opened Bungee Jumping spot that has the highest and longest suspension bridge(1294m) in Nepal. We’ll rest for a while and start trekking by crossing a bridge over Kali Gandaki River and ascending uphill towards Bans Kharka(1450m). Bans Kharka has an orange farm and is famous for its oranges(suntala). So, it is also known as Suntala Kharka.

After Breakfast, we’ll trek towards the Nangi Village(2250m)which will take about 5-6 hours. We’ll come across beautiful villages, high-hill landscapes, and scenic mountain views before reaching Nangi Village. You can visit Woman Craft Shop and their organic school and also experience, the hand-made paper-making process.

Today, after breakfast, we’ll trek toward Mohare Dada(3300m)through beautiful Rhododendron, Oak, and Bamboo forests. Today’s, 7-hour trek on the magnificent trail will reward you with jaw-dropping views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges.

After yesterday’s long trek, today, you’ll be awarded a spectacular sunrise from Mohare Danda. After breakfast, we’ll hit the trail and pass-through rhododendron forests. After we reach Ghorepani(2850m), you’re suggested to hike to Poon-hill (3210m). The views from Poon-Hill will make you mesmerized.

We’ll hit the trail after breakfast and trek towards Hile(1400m). We’ll move downhill through more rhododendron forests until we reach Tikhedhunga(1480m). Enjoying the beautiful views of mountains, we’ll trek towards hile. You’ll enjoy your time in hile, exploring its Lush-green forests.

After breakfast, we’ll start our day by descending toward Nayapul(1070m). We’ll pass terraced Agricultural lands on our way to Nayapul. Now, we’ll drive toward Pokhara which will take around 2 hours. You’re free tonight to roam around Pokhara.

Leaving footprints in the trails and preserving the memories of the Annapurna Region, we’ll drive towards Kathmandu. You’ll enjoy the curvy roads of Nepal’s hills and its greenery along the way. We’ll drop you off at the hotel and the day is over. You could do some last-minute shopping and packing, send a few postcards home or even go down for a stroll to Thamel, an internationally known hub for tourists in Asia.

After breakfast, we’ll visit Swayambhunath Stupa, said to be 2000 years stupa on a hillock that offers a breathtaking view of Kathmandu City. We will then proceed to visit Pashupatinath and Bouddhanath. After lunch, we’ll visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan (Lalitpur) – which is the oldest of the three major cities in Kathmandu Valley – famous for its Buddhist monuments and Hindu temples, and you can catch the traditional artisans working with wood, stones, and metals.
After we finish Sightseeing, You’ll be gifted with an evening farewell dinner in a traditional way and many other surprises, for they’ve had a quality time with you.

This Mohare Dada Trekking is a newly opened Trail, which is mainly famous for its Eco Community Lodges. The hill station is the closest and highest vantage point of Annapurna South.
The best season for this trek are Spring (March, April, May) and Autumn (September, October, and November). In these season, the sky is clear and the days are sunny too.
This trekking trail is a newly opened trail and is the best alternative for Ghorepani-Poonhill trekking as it has more to offer community lodges. And, the views are just incredible.
Yes, you'll need a trekking permit for Mohare Dada Trek as it lies in the Annapurna Conservation Area. So, you'll need an ACAP permit and TIMS card which will be managed by our agency.
Yes, you'll find loaches in monsoon season and the time of rainfall. So, you're suggested to carry a repellant spray. You'll also find other bugs and insects in this trail.
