Annapurna Foothill trek is very famous trekking in Nepal. Views are incredible and colourful short foray into the Annapurna region. The trail winds through patchwork valleys, dense mossy forests and past icy waterfalls where you can stop to cool your face. This trek, in the Annapurna foothills to the view point on Poonhill, offers all the best of trekking in Nepal. Enjoy trekking in the spectacular mountain scenery through charming villages inhabited by the Gurungs, Magars, dense rhododendron forests full of birds and deep sub-tropical valleys, all set below the Annapurnas with the picturesque peak of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Peak) dominating the skyline.
At the climax of this trek you will climb Poonhill at dawn to enjoy one of the most spectacular views of the mountains on earth. As the sun touches the snow-capped summits the Himalayan giants, Dhaulagiri (8167m) and Annapurna (8091m) along with a maze of other peaks, slowly begin to appear, like magic, before our eyes. It is a rewarding trek that can be enjoyed by every lover of nature and beautiful.

Situated at 200 km west of Kathmandu, Pokhara is a beautiful and clean city with Phewa Lake on the west and stunning view of Annapurna mountain range on the north.
After 2 hrs drive to Naya Pul, we then commence the trek to Birethanti, a large and prosperous town beside the Modi River. We head up the main trail to Sudami where we climb gradually up the side of the valley, reaching Tikhedhunga (1577m) before pushing on to Ulleri. From Tikhedhunga, the trail crosses a stream and then ascends a steep stone staircase to the large Magar Village at Ulleri.
This is a pleasant walking day today. We trek through rhododendron and oak forests and across streams before making a short, final climb to Nangethanti. From Nangethanti, we head up to Ghorepani.
An early start and an hour hiking to Poonhill (3210m) leads us to a brilliant spectacle. This vantage point provides an unobstructed view of sunrise over the high Himalayas. After spending about 40 minutes on the hillside, we come back to Ghorepani, have a hot breakfast, and start walking to Tadapani. From Ghorepani the trail climbs along ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali (2960m). We descend to reach Banthanti, before winding our way to Tadapani.
After 3 hour walk we will be in village of Ghandrung . We will stay overnight here, afternoon we will visiting the Annapurna conservation office and Gurung museum, as well take time to explore the village.
From Ghandrung one has to descend all the way down to Kyume (1430m) and then ascend again all the way to Deurali. We pass through another beautiful Gurung Village, Landruk (1570m) and then a steep uphill, but through the forest up to Deurali.
From Deurali, it is a gentle downhill through the beautiful forest and with the great view of Annapurna and Manaslu range mountains up to village Dhampus (1710m). From Dhampus, it is 1 hr steep downhill to reach Phedi (970m), which is the ending point of this trek. From Phedi, it is one hour drive to Pokhara.
